Reliance AGM 2021: Cheapest 5G Jio Phones and JioBook Laptops To Launch This Time

Recently Jio book laptops and affordable 5 smartphones were quite in the limelight. A news report claimed that Reliance is working on affordable laptops that will be renamed Jio Book. Well, Reliance has finally sealed these claims. The company is reportedly preparing a plan to launch JioBook laptops and ' affordable ' 5G smartphones at its annual general meeting (AGM).




Soon the affordable 5g smartphones and laptops had leaked some specifications of the Jio book earlier also. Well, the AGM was made mid-July organization last year. This time also it is estimated that it will be held in August or September itself. Hopefully, this meeting can have some big announcements with both devices. Quoting some sources, it has been reported that Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is all set to announce its alleged ' affordable ' laptop JioBook and 5G smartphones at THE AGM. This smartphone is being built in tandem with Google. In May and June, the phone will be brought to its R&D (research and development) stage.



In addition to smartphones and laptops, AGM 2021 can have many more big announcements. It is believed that a 5g network roll-out can also be announced in the meeting. We know Reliance is known for a revolution, so wouldn't be surprised if the company offers its smartphone at a very aggressive price.   In addition to smartphones, some specifications of this laptop were leaked at the beginning of March. 


According to leaked specifications, the laptop can work on custom skins based on Android. Whose name will be JioOS? It can come with Jio apps. JioBook can have 4G LTE support. The prototype of the laptop is seen as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset and Snapdragon X12 4G modem with a display of 1,366x768 pixels resolution. JioBook is expected to offer at least 2GB LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB eMMC storage variants. A model can also be equipped with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage.
