But sometimes it happens that people have to fill in the spelling or address of their names in haste while applying for aadhaar cards, after which they have to detour to the base center and have to embark on long queues. Update the name and address in the aadhaar card
To change the name and address, first, visit the official website uidai.gov.in of Aadhaar card
When you scroll down, you'll see the option of updated demographics data, tap it
The new tab will open on your screen, tap the Processed to Update base option
Now you need to enter your Aadhaar card number, after which an OTP will appear on your mobile, submit it
You'll see the update demographics data option, click on it
You'll get the name and address option, tap on what you want to change, and fill in the new information carefully

After doing so, upload anyone ID as an address proof and make an online payment of Rs. 50
After making the payment, a notification will appear on your mobile, with a code through which you can easily track updation in Aadhaar
Self-update base facility restored again
